Product Description
Hygia Splint(Pre-cut type) is intended for use in the construction of common orthopedic splints and consists of multiple layers of a knitted polyester fabric, impregnated with polyurethane resin. It is covered on both sides by air and moisture permeable non-woven fabric, which serves as padding.

Application
1. Select the desired size and remove from the foil pouch.
2. Immerse the splint in room temperature water, squeezing very hard once or twice while submerged. Squeeze excess water and try to wipe off with a dry towel to remove water on the splint. Warmer water will shorten the hardening time, while cooler water will prolong it.
3. Wrap with an elastic bandage. The splint can be folded back to determine the exact dimensions. Molding and forming should be done at this time. In areas of critical molding, keep your hands in pa\lace for 30 seconds to speed hardening. Set time is approximately 4~5 minutes. The splint will continue to gain strength for the first 25 minutes.
